Manhattan George Washington Bridge Outreach Program

Since 1997, our Outreach Teams have met street homeless adults where they are, offering a first step towards housing stability. Our team members go out daily to engage with adults who are experiencing street-homelessness. Our teams are always ready to provide basic hygiene items, clothing, and food, or to help someone find medical treatment.

Through consistent interaction, assessments, practical assistance, case management, referral services, and more, we work with individuals to meet their needs. When someone feels ready to take the next step, we help them into housing, sometimes at one our Safe Havens or in our stabilization bed program at Longacre.
