Manhattan The Longacre Stabilization Bed Program

As a result of the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Urban Pathways opened the Longacre Stabilization Bed Program in April 2020. This 60-bed program located at the Longacre Hotel in midtown Manhattan started as a satellite program of our Olivieri Drop-In Center, and in 2022 became its own stand-alone stabilization bed program. The Longacre Stabilization Bed Program provides temporary shelter and supportive services to single adults living on the streets and in public areas of NYC, with the goal of ensuring that program participants are provided with the support they need to move into transitional or permanent housing that meets their immediate and long-term needs, thereby reducing the risk of recidivism, institutionalization and/or incarceration.
