Bronx Webster Avenue Safe Haven

The Webster Avenue Safe Haven, located in the Claremont neighborhood of the Bronx, opened in 2021 and serves 60 single adults. Similar to our other Safe Haven programs, the Webster Safe Haven provides low-threshold transitional housing, intensive case management, and support services for individuals while they prepare to move into a more permanent setting.

Take a look around the first few floors of the building in our new virtual tour, and see what home looks like for the residents who live there while they plan their next move!

On the first floor, you’ll see 2-bed and 5-bed dormitories with beds and lockers for personal belongings, a common restroom shared by the floor’s residents, and a large recreation room and cafeteria. Going down a floor, the cellar houses a laundry room, a storage room for toiletries and other necessities for residents, and administrative offices where Urban Pathways staff meet with people and help them work toward their goals. Finally, taking the stairs up to the 3rd floor, you’ll see several 2-person dormitories, a 6-person dormitory, and another shared restroom.
