This past Labor Day, Urban Pathways staff at Cluster House in New York City treated residents to a holiday barbecue!
This end of summer barbeque was the first of its kind at the Cluster House residence.
Staff served hamburgers, and hot dogs, as well as fried chicken, baked fish, string beans, potato salad, rice and beans, Cesar salad, and pound cake.
Residents came out in full force to enjoy the food, weather and their neighbors.
“I think this is great. I love that Urban Pathways does these events for their residents. It gets people out of their apartments and helps in making new friends.” –Jonathan
Residents at Cluster have a range of activities to take part in on a monthly basis such as: yoga, photography, and book clubs to name a few. Having a surprise barbecue proved to be the perfect ending to a summer in New York.
Help us continue to provide #thewayhome to homeless and at-risk New Yorkers.
